Welcome to 2025: Let’s Make It a Year of Health and Happiness!
Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, I’m feeling excited and hopeful for what’s ahead. A new year is always a fresh start—a chance to refocus on what matters most and set the tone for the months to come, to live the lives we've always imagined for ourselves. For me, that always comes back to one thing: good health.
This year, I want to remind everyone of a simple truth that’s been at the heart of my work for years: keeping your blood sugar stable is the foundation of good health. When your blood sugar is balanced, everything else tends to fall into place—your energy, your focus, and your overall sense of well-being. And let’s face it, good health really does make for a good year!
As I reflect on my personal journey—something I share in my new book 'The Belly Fat Solution' — I’m reminded that even as a health professional, I’m not immune to life’s challenges. For the first time, I found myself struggling with something I’ve helped so many others tackle: stubborn belly fat. It was a wake-up call and a reminder that health isn’t just about what you eat; it’s about your whole lifestyle—your habits, your stress, and how you take care of yourself.
What's new for 2025
This year is already off to an exciting start! We’ve launched our brand-new website, which now makes it easier than ever to access my signature products and services. For years, clients have traveled hours to visit our clinics, and while I’m so grateful for that dedication, my goal for 2025 is to make our programs available to even more people—whether that’s in-person, online, or a mix of both.
On a personal note, I’m also setting my own intentions for the year ahead. One of my resolutions? To welcome more joy and connection into my life. A wonderful man to share my adventures with would be amazing. Like many of you, I’m always looking for balance—not just in health but in all areas of life.
The Role of Blood Sugar at Every Stage of Life
One topic I feel really passionate about—especially after writing this book—is how blood sugar impacts us as we age. Hormonal changes during menopause and andropause can make keeping blood sugar stable more of a challenge. As estrogen levels decline, so does our natural insulin sensitivity, which can lead to issues like weight gain, fatigue, and more.
But the good news is that you can absolutely take charge of this! By focusing on balanced meals, staying active, and managing stress, you can maintain stable blood sugar and protect your long-term health. This isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling your best and giving your body what it needs to thrive.
